XtraVital Guinea Pig Food is a very tasty and balanced premium food. Guinea pigs have a special nutritional requirement because they do not produce vitamin C themselves. That is why XtraVital guinea pig food is enriched with extra vitamin C. The varied composition of high-quality ingredients ensures optimal acceptance. For a better absorption of minerals in the body, chelated minerals (minerals coated with a protein coat) are used. With alfalfa extrudates for good vitamins, minerals, fiber and proteins. Instructions

Guinea pigs are best fed twice a day. This corresponds most closely to the natural eating pattern of the guinea pig and gives regularity. Due to the palatability of the food, your guinea pig will immediately accept it. In the beginning, however, it is advisable to closely monitor the nutritional intake and possibly mix XtraVital with the old food. A guinea pig eats approximately 40 grams of XtraVital guinea pig food per day. Provide fresh feed, fresh hay and fresh and clean drinking water every day.
